The art of the selfie
As we all know for the most part that people take photos of them selfs and post them on to places like Facebook and Instagram and many more places. Now this is pretty much a new form of photography just like macro photographers some are bad some are good and few are great and that applies with the selfie some people are really stinking good at taking selfies look around on tumblr and you will find all sorts of selfies some good some bad some amazing. So that's why I titled this "The art of the selfie" because there's a art behind a truly amazing selfie. This is a selfie I took of my self over the summer and decided that there is a art form behind it.

This weird ball
This is a buca all and it is used for the game tarkra and it's played like tennis but it's like hacky sack
So you hit the the ball with your feet and the ball does have quite a bit of bounce to it. This photograph was taken with my iPad mini and then a filter was place on to the photo this was taken at my school the time was around 1:15. Some may be looking at the table and being like damn he must go to a ghetto school but actly it's not the tables just get painted quite a bit by the students you would see the walls in side the buildings

Just a bike.
This photo is of a bike chain. As playing with depth of
field this day. Originally this photo was for a photography class but I decided
to post it up on here extremely shallow depth of field this is for sure a macro
shot I really love the depth of field on this photo so shallow you see the
front of the bike chain and then it was seemingly blurs to nothing. Nothing out
of the ordinary here is a nice depth of field.
Point Lobos, CA part 4
here is another photograph from my trip point Lobos. This of some plant life that was on the ledge I was on. I like the shimmer that was on the sea. The point focus was the plants more specifically it was the flowers I think that's a nice perspective the plants weren't just squared to photo they were set at an angle pretty elementary but not all does it correctly
My friend
This is my favorite portrait photo I've ever taken. The
emotion that is in this photo is ridiculous the feeling in other words I see
curiosity I see fear I get the feeling of the unknowing. I feel the lighting
and framing this photo is perfect. I wish that all my photograph came out this
well. The young lady in this photo is my friend Serina. This photo was taken on
top of the Golden gate Bridge I saw the opportunity as my friend was peering
down the side of the bridge. This photograph was taken with the shutter speed
of 1/200sec and aperture of f/5.6
Point Lobos, CA part 3
this is one of my more favorite photos I've taken. I'll love
the angle that this shot is taken at. It's not usual gives a great and feel to
it. The colors are a little dry those due to the harsh summer sun. This shot
was taken on the same ledge in my two other previous photographs were taken on.
The young lady in this photo is my friend Serina. With the angle that this
photo was taken with it gives you quite the odd feeling. The photographs taken
with a shutter speed of 1/400 sec and f-stop of f/7.1.
Point Lobos, CA part 2
this shot is from the other side of the ledge I was on in
point Lobos. This one has much stronger following lines due to the fact that
they are straighter. I was able to battle the harsh summer sun more effectively
in this photograph I always enjoy taking photos of the California coast because
they're so much more to look at. So much more interesting in the shot you're
able to see some of the seafloor and you have a nice beautiful blue sky this
photograph was taken with a shutter speed of 1/400 sec and f-stop of f/7.1
Point Lobos, CA
This photo was taken near point Lobos. In this particular
photograph I was battling the harsh summer sun. This photograph has beautiful
following lines. I love The fact I can see the seafloor. This photograph was
taken with a shutter speed of 1/320 sec and at stop of f/7.1

My front yard
This is one of my latest photographs. This is of a flower
bud I caught just a few days before it became its vivid beautiful flower. I was
using when my old Nikon film lens that gives me with the most ridiculous depth
the field I can get super macro images with it like this one is has a very very
shallow depth of field a very emotional photograph if I do say so. With the
vivid color from the flower bud the dark background gives you a sense of
natural beauty and of life.
Fun in a car
Another photograph done by myself. The idea of this
photograph was initially to be a blurry photograph throughout. But as soon as I
took my first shot I saw that the foreground was blurry and the background was
sharp and not blurry. If you would like to pull off a shot like this hop in the
car grab the camera either rolled down the window or keep it up and just make
sure it's clean so you don't get Spots from it being dirty. Get your exposure
set and then this is the trial and error part. You have to play with your
shutter speed see you have it slow enough to get the blur but fast enough to
the background stays sharp my photograph was taken with a shutter speed of 1/6
sec and a aperture of f/22 so I get a nice in focused shot. This photograph was
done on the car ride to Monterey. I think this is an interesting photograph
primarily because the foreground's blurry in the backgrounds is in focus.
Montray CA
Here's another photograph by myself. This was taken on the
coast of Monterey California. The sun was setting and was throwing off the most
beautiful color enhancing light. I love the plant life in the frontal section
of the photo combined with the lighting there quite beautiful and yet you have the waves coming in from the
coast and the beautiful sky with a very vivid and blue color. Emotionally I don't
feel the photo contains much because this was not supposed to be an emotional
photograph. This photograph was supposed to be beautiful landscape shot of the
Monterey coast I think it completes that beautifully. This photograph was taken
with a shutter speed of 1/22 sec and f-stop of f/11.
welcome
Hello guys and welcome to my blog. This blog will be
following my photography. I will talk a little bit about photography skills but
it will be primarily be my photography. And other people's photography to give
a specific question you like to ask feel free to post it in the comments. Onto
today's photograph this is of a chessboard the CDI is of a pawn piece. The
lighting is coming from the top end of the photograph this photo is very soft
and contains little to no emotion. This photograph contains a semi-shallow
depth of field. The shutter speed this photograph is taken with is 1/6 in the
f-stop was f/5.
